Commercial photography is what I ultimately want to do for my career. I have passion for capturing images of significant events such as engagement photos or events to capture a particular time period such as baby pictures or a completed family photo. I want to spread smiles and create happiness for people when they receive their photos from me. That's why when I was looking for a photograph on the website, I wanted to chose one that is in the same niche as I want to be in. I came across Jonas Bendiksen due to the fact I saw this picture first. His page pooped up with family photos, vacation photos, and commercial photos. I was drawn to his simple but beautiful photos that he has taken. I am excited to view more of his work and see what commercial jobs he has done in his career.
When I first saw the photo above, I was amazed due to the fact that it's a time lapse photo. Time lapse images have always been drawn to me due to the sparkling light zigzagging places. I love when I see city and cars on a highway time lapse photo. It's beautiful what kind of photo you can make when you use time lapse. I believe he took this image for commercial work for a car company. It's not exactly the path I wanted to go with my career, but I chose this photo due to the fact I can add this into my career. I wouldn't mind taking photos for companies to promote their business to people. Jonas Bendiksen's work seems like it was a lot of fun and incredible to make. I wouldn't mind adding business photos in to my commercial work.
I love Jonas Bendiksen's commercial photos because of how well he captures the moment. I liked this exercise to find a photographer because I got to explore for one I like and ultimately learn I can branch out and do other commercial photos. Furthermore, I wouldn't critique anything about Bendiksen's photo due to the fact that I think it's perfect and quite remarkable. I love the glowing lights of the car and the path the car makes with the road. I also love the side of the mountains and how you can see city lights in the middle of two mountains. I love researching Jonas Bendiksen's photographs since I got to learn what commercial work he does and how it gave me the idea of branching out to more commercial work I can provide when I am older.
